Editorial. Nowadays advertisers just dress it up as editorial and buy it as a piece of advertorial or sponsored content. Sites and press do it all the time especially with car brands and luxury goods. Although, I agree there is nothing wrong with this article as the distinction isn’t obvious.
Martin Lewis is a super affiliate. Last time I looked into it he does not accept paid advertising but instead makes money from commission of products sold. So they are not buying space but are benefiting. Although I did look into it some time ago.

Where does this leave Martin Lewis in everyone’s opinion? Is his entire site a financial promotion or is it editorial. It’s clearly paid for by the marketers.

Clearly Noel didn’t like it but personally I thought your article was concise, well articulated and well edited, whilst being informative. So two thumbs up and thanks for the info.
