Well, we thought they learnt their lessons but no… The MoneyExpert.com group, after their interesting redesign, are back with more link purchases. They’ve jumped to number two for [credit cards]. Let’s find out why.
OK, Yahoo Site Explorer is reprting 4,603,140 links – that seems a little high to me!
How about just the credit card page: 3,666,338 Impressive!
As soon as you look at their link profile, it becomes rather clear what’s going on. Take a look at this page: http://www.comparesatellite.info/satellite-cable.php they even surround the div with an id of coop.

Or what about this one: http://www.activefarming.org/cows – a site about cows!!! That definitely should have a link to moneyexpert on credit cards or loans(!)
For a better review, throw their domain in to backlinkwatch.com for an entertaining read.
For more information on the DigitalPoint Network, Patrick does a great overview and some further analysis.

Jesus, what is this? moneyexpertwatchblog.
Yes, you mentioned this only 44 times, get over yourselves.
This post is getting lots of attention – some of it negative!
@Essel – it’s new activity. A re-focus on a new key phrase by a known company. Some might call that news?!!
Some of us came to this blog for CAR INSURANCE news, if I want to look who is top of google and how they’re doing it I’m capable..No, I don’t call it news.
@Essel, It is *news*. It’s not about car insurance, but we never claimed it was. What’s important here is why sites like MoneyExpert are appearing top of the search engines and the continuous battle between competitors.
@George
Sorry, perhaps I got confused afterall your header is “INSURANCE BLOG”. Have you read your about us page recently?
@Essel, You’re right, I’ve got one of our admins to change that. It shouldn’t read insurance blog on our header. Thanks for letting us know so we could make a difference. And no, I haven’t read our about us page recently.
Would you just like to read about car insurance? Is that it? Or would you rather us not write about moneyexpert? Or would you rather us not write at all?
Just a thought but you don’t have to read Insiders View if you don’t want to.
When will you say which financial website you have an interest in, rather than trying to push all the successful sites down the ladder?

First they send sockpuppet commenters. Next it’ll be hit men. You mark my words, George
All very weel and good BUT Google are STILL letting Moneyexpert (And anyone else who decides to use Digitalpoint) get away with it! Why?? No-one knows ….
