Showing as No1 again but find it more interesting to see Go Compare at N04 as even though they have been slapped twice before by google i still get emails from their SEO team trying to get me to put up a content page produced by them on a topic of my choice with their links included in the article. 12 months time wonder which of the big boys will be top for car insurance as today 2nd and 3rd positions are taken by actual insurers rather comparison site websites.

I wonder if it is another moneysupermarket press release backfiring. It's vast team of PRs and SEOs put out a story about young drivers crashing for cash and fraudulent claims based on little more than Survey Moneky type data.

Worse is the AA's comments to the Telegraph, The Scotsman etc

Simon Douglas, director of AA Insurance:

The increased use of price comparison sites to buy insurance has also facilitated greater insurance fraud, Douglas claimed. He added: "It is much easier to manipulate information on a computer screen to find the cheapest price - for example, by changing the facts about past driving experience.

"But insurers are getting wise to this and are finding that cheap premiums inevitably lead to excessive claims.

It's interesting to note that premiums on the price comparison sites are rising fastest of all."
